Spring????? Break

We have had some of the craziest weather this week! We've had rain, sun, hail and snow! It seems like we've seen more snow this week than we've had all WINTER put together! It's been snowing non-stop since about 8:00 this morning, but since the ground was so wet, it didn't start to stick until this afternoon. Anyway, next week is our spring break.....what a way to start it.

Musical Chairs.....

As you all know, Amanda loves her music. She played in the band concert a couple weeks ago and, instead of playing the flute, she played her saxaphone. Mr. Bain, her Band Teacher, was going to have her play the flute for one song and the sax for the other, but she's done really well at learning her new instrument. Mr. Bain is so happy with her progress, he's also having her do a solo during the end-of-the-year concert with the sax. I am SO proud of her! She has an amazing talent for music.

Lunar Eclipse

We were lucky enough to have an amazingly clear night last night to view the eclipse. We got the telescope out, along with our neighbor and her telescope, and looked at the beautiful moon up close. I also couldn't resist taking some pictures, just to see how they'd turn out. Even though they're a bit blurry, I still loved the way they turned out. What a GREAT way to spend an evening.....outside with the family, in the brisk cool air, looking at the moon.
